After arrival in Cape Town, we took a shuttle to Sanbona to a high class lodge with a total of 12 luxurious suites, pool, freestanding bathtub and own wine cellar. In the wellness and spa area one could relax and mentally prepare for the atmospheric pool BBQ in the evening.
The first attraction we started with a discovery tour through the bush with open jeeps. From the hunting lion prides to the leopard eating its freshly killed prey, everything was offered on this day. Afterwards the excursion to Table Mountain followed. From the 1.087m high mountain, one enjoys a unique view over the Cape Peninsula to the Indian and Atlantic Ocean.
After spending the night in one of the most beautiful hotels at the Cape of Good Hope, a trip to the beautiful beaches of Camps Bay was on the program. During this trip we made a detour to the Chinchilla Bar, where we enjoyed an incredible sunset with chilly music and delicious cocktails.
And while you are at the Cape, of course you also have to go on a discovery tour! We started with a Harley-Davidson-Tour along the most beautiful routes, which a biker can only imagine under pithy engine sound. Arrived at our destination, we went directly into the helicopter for a panoramic flight from Cape Town to the Cape of Good Hope. The flight took us along the Atlantic Ocean, over the picturesque suburbs of Sea Point, Clifton, Camps Bay and Liandudo with their beautiful cities and further over the beautiful harbour of Hout Bay. To see the city from the bird's eye view is a very special experience.
The finale was then celebrated in a chic party night at Cocoon Capetown on the 31st floor of the recently opened ABSA building. From the east and west wings of the building, the city, Table Mountain and the harbor can be admired impressively.
Impressions
On the last day we chilled at the hotel pool in the sun of Africa before we started our flight home.
